APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Preparing the base:

The surface must be completely clean, without loose or poorly adhered parts, and totally free of paint, grease, oils, etc. Prior to applying  SikaTop®-107 Seal CO,  the base must be moistened with water, avoiding puddles, to ensure a surface in SSS (saturated, surface dry) condition.

Product preparation :

In a wide-mouthed container, first pour Component A (liquid) and gradually add Component B (powder). Mix manually or preferably with a low-speed (400 rpm) mechanical drill for 2 to 3 minutes, until a completely homogeneous and lump-free mixture is obtained.

APPLICATION

SikaTop®-107 Seal CO is applied with a nylon bristle brush, metal trowel, or sponge. Apply  SikaTop®-107 Seal CO  as a thick coat, not a thin coat of paint, spreading it evenly and maintaining the direction of application for a good finish.

When using a trowel, reduce the amount of liquid (Component A) until the desired consistency is achieved. Two coats of the product should be applied, with the second coat applied 12 hours after the first. To adhere mortars or tiles to  SikaTop®-107 Seal CO,  SikaLatex® should be used as a bonding agent.
